I hope everyone was super productive! I ended up napping until about 30 minutes after the start time, and decided to skip the rest rather than get right back in front of a screen again. I’ll probably do a popup one day this week to catch up!

No one needs this reminder more than me!

          Yikes! Fixed!

Did we answer this on Zoom? I feel like I did but also my memory, she is not so good!

              Thank you so much!!

The good news is, you can still write the HTML if you want, haha, just click the Text tab in the upper right corner of the editor!

Okay, times for this week are on the calendar. There’s something every day. Some are 1 hour, some are 2. ( I definitely have a hard stop on Wednesday, just so you know.) Feel free to hop in while the session is in progress, and we’ll check in with you at the first break!

I’ll see how many make it at various times and use that to adjust going forward.

Evenings are very bad for me this week due to my DIL’s work schedule, but I encourage those of you who can only make it in the evening to start a thread looking for writing partners; the room should work even if I’m not around!

Okay, I made a bunch of changes and got us a WYSIWYG editor which should make reading AND posting much easier.

Is this good enough for now, always remembering that I’m NOT going down a “make it pretty” rabbit hole while this challenge is ongoing, LOL?

I would have sworn on a stack of bibles that there was a written warning on that page saying I talk for a while before the slides start, but apparently I hallucinated that! I’m going to add it now. 💕

I honestly think parent prequels do very well in romance!

If you click on any event link in the calendar, the zoom link is right in there!

Our intention is that it will always be the same link, but on the off chance we have to change it for some reason, you can always find the correct one in the calendar.

Can you go post in the bug forum that Gravatar isn’t working? It’s probably a setting I can change, but I’ll forget 1.3 seconds after I send this reply.

You are definitely in the right place even if you’re at the very beginning of your author journey! I recommend having a reader magnet ready to go even before your book/series is done, if at all possible.

The List-Building Worksheet is in the List-Building lesson, which you can find here:

This is info you’ll want to gather going forward, even though you don’t have anything to analyze now. 💕

All the Module 1 stuff is foundational — What makes a good reader magnet and how do you write one.
You’ll need that when you move on to Module 2, where you plan the reader magnet you’ll be writing starting next week!

I hope that helps. I often expect people to sort of follow the leaps my brain makes, and if you can’t, that’s a me problem not a you problem. I’m happy to elaborate further, here or on a planning call if you’re coming to one of those!

My issue (especially since my romantasy prose leans toward epic fantasy) is trying to contain an idea to something small.

Hopefully the Webinar Replay, Slicing and Dicing the Beats, and Essential Math will help you out with this! (Essential Math even has A FORMULA!)

                                  Nope, that’s great!

Noon is generally really good for me, too, so that’s also great!
